Dinner Inspo

I hate routine. Not.a.fan! But lets’ face it, as an adult and now a Parent it’s kind of necessary and to a certain extent, I live a pretty structured life when it comes to food shopping and cooking. I always wanted to be ‘one of those Mums’ and I’m actually really proud to say that I am one; the Mum that cooks – and I love it. I love learning to cook and trying to cook new things. Already, the dinner table is a really important place for us. At any given opportunity I like to host and cook for friends and family. Anyway, I’m going off topic. Basically the point of this post is to say that I understand how boring weekly dinners can be. It can feel like a constant cycle of the same old, you know the ones; sausage and mash, fahitas, spag bol, shepheards pie, stir fry haha we are all guilty of it. It’s hard to constantly think of new dinners to cook. Anway, I am going to start sharing a few of mine. They wont be anything fancy, just to give you a bit of inspo really and they wont take too long to cook or prep. I know everyone leads a busy life in their own right but there is no excuse when it comes to a nice ‘proper dinner’ take this for an example, tonight I cooked a Beef Hotpot accompanied with carrots and broccoli – I would just like to point out that I am allergic to raw carrots and raw potatos, like proper allergic as in my skin goes disgusting BUT I still crack and do it because I refuse to let that get in the way of cooking them for Joseph, SO GET TO IT 😉 x
